Really Awards 2009 Winners: Yes there "really" are winners in reality television

Fox Reality Channel's "Really Awards," which aired Oct. 17 and was hosted by Vivica A. Fox, is a way to showcase the ups and downs of reality TV in a much bigger sense than this here blog. Since reality TV stars probably don't feel the need to be awarded by a writer in the blogosphere, "Rad and Bad Reality" is simply going to recap the award winners. Perhaps mentioning their name again will make the winners feel like even more special. Most likely not. But, at least it will serve the purpose of breaking down the winners for those that missed it (whether by accident or on purpose).

This was the fourth time Fox Reality Channel presented awards to reality TV stars and the "Reallys" is the only award show that celebrates the best in reality television. This award show is an important way to showcase reality TV for everything it has to offer. Here at "Rad and Bad Reality" it is important to post such winners because it gives the viewing public an idea of which shows to watch, or avoid, based on the winners. The ratings of said shows could very well be affected by an award show such as the "Reallys" and therefore informing reality TV viewers is an important attribute to any reality TV blog. A post like this reflects the traditional news values of audience, for the reasons mentioned above.
